How to use Jump To shortcuts in Punch

Access your watchlist, option chain, positions, orders, holdings, funds, and support in one tap.

Jump To is a shortcut menu that lets you reach key sections of the app without leaving your current screen. When you are done, tapping Back brings you right back to where you were — same chart, same state.

What you can access from Jump To

  • Option Chain — View contracts, switch expiry, and place orders.

  • OI Data — Open interest data for the instrument you are currently viewing.

  • Watchlist — Your saved instruments, displayed in a compact layout.

  • Positions — Active and closed positions with exit and protection options.

  • Orders — Your order book with modify and cancel actions.

  • Holdings — Equity holdings with CDSL-based exit support.

  • Funds — View available margin, add funds, or withdraw.

  • Live Chat — Opens WhatsApp directly for support.

If the instrument you are viewing does not have options contracts, the Option Chain and OI Data buttons will not appear in the menu.

How to open Jump To

  1. Open Punch and go to any chart.

  2. Tap Jump To on bottom navigation

  3. Tap any destination to open it.

  4. When you are finished, tap the Back arrow or use your phone's back button to return to your chart in the same state.

Using the Option Chain

The Option Chain opens with the nearest monthly expiry selected by default. You can switch to a different expiry within the session, but it will reset to the nearest month the next time you open it.

Tap any contract to open the order form. After you place an order, a confirmation appears on the same screen — you do not get redirected elsewhere.

Using Positions, Orders, and Holdings

Each of these opens as a full screen with all the actions you would expect:

  • Positions — Exit individual positions, exit all, or add protection orders.

  • Orders — View, modify, or cancel pending orders.

  • Holdings — View your equity holdings and initiate exits.

Funds and Live Chat

Funds opens your funds page directly where you can check margin, add money, or withdraw.

Live Chat takes you straight to WhatsApp — no intermediate screens.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Option Chain remember my last expiry?

No. It always opens at the nearest monthly expiry. You can change it during your session, but it resets when you close and reopen.

Why are Option Chain and OI Data missing?

These options are hidden when the instrument you are currently viewing does not have options contracts (for example, a stock without derivatives). Switch to an instrument that has F&O contracts and they will appear again.
