What Are Pre-Made Watchlists?
Punch offers ready-to-use watchlists that track popular market groups. Instead of manually adding 50 stocks one by one, you can add an entire list — like the Nifty 50 — in one tap. These lists are maintained by Punch so they always reflect the latest official composition.
Adding a Pre-Made Watchlist
- Open the Watchlist tab in Punch.
- Tap the add watchlists button at the top of the screen, next to your watchlist dropdown.
- Check the box next to any list you want — Nifty 50, Nifty Next 50, or FnO Stocks.
- The watchlist appears in your section and opens automatically.
You can add multiple lists at once without closing the menu.
Removing a Pre-Made Watchlist
- Open the same add watchlists menu.
- Uncheck the list you want to remove.
- If you were viewing that list, Punch switches you to Watchlist 1. Otherwise, you stay on your current view.
Available Lists at a Glance
Each list shows index rows at the top, followed by stocks in alphabetical order.
Why You Cannot Edit Individual Stocks
Pre-made watchlists are locked so they stay accurate. You will see a lock icon next to the watchlist name, and you cannot add or remove individual stocks from these lists. If you want a customizable version, create a new watchlist and add the stocks you need manually.
Good to Know
- Sector watchlists are listed as coming soon but are not available yet.
- Your layout preference is saved — whichever lists you have added will still be there when you reopen Punch.
