What is Account activation page?

Learn what to do while your Punch account is being reviewed, including how to explore charges and access the app early.

While your account is under review

After you submit your Punch trading account application, it goes through a verification process. During this time, a wait page appears automatically every time you open the app. You do not need to do anything special — the page is simply a holding screen until your account is approved.

Options available on the account activation page

Even while waiting, you have a few things you can do:

  • Watch Video — Opens a setup guide on YouTube so you can get familiar with Punch before your account is ready.

  • Calculate Savings — Lets you enter your trading details and see a breakdown of charges.

  • Continue to App — Takes you to the Dashboard so you can look around. Full trading will not be available until approval is complete.

How to check if your account has been approved?

The account activation page will notify you of status changes.

Once approved, you will see a Congratulations screen followed by PIN setup, biometric verification, and a risk disclosure before reaching the Dashboard.

Punch also sends an email and Whatsapp when your account gets approved.

What if you are asked to redo a step?

Occasionally, a step in your application may need to be corrected. If this happens:

  1. Close the app completely.

  2. Reopen it — you will be taken directly to the screen where the correction is needed.
