I don’t have biometrics on my phone, how can I log in?

Phones without a fingerprint sensor can use OTP-based login instead.

Not every phone comes with a fingerprint sensor, and Punch fully supports that. You will not miss out on any features.

How OTP Login Works

  1. Open the Punch app.

  2. Instead of a fingerprint prompt, you will see an option to log in via OTP.

  3. Tap it, and Punch will send a one-time password to your registered mobile number.

  4. Enter the OTP on the login screen to access your account.

Is OTP Login as Secure as Fingerprint?

Yes. Both methods serve as the second factor of authentication alongside your PIN. The OTP is time-limited and sent only to your registered number, so it offers the same level of protection as fingerprint verification.

Tips for Smooth OTP Login

  • Make sure you have an active mobile signal when logging in. No signal means no OTP delivery.

  • If the OTP does not arrive within a couple of minutes, tap Resend OTP.

  • Keep your registered mobile number up to date with Punch so you always receive OTPs without issues.
