I am not receiving OTP to log in, what should I do?

OTPs are delivered via SMS to your registered mobile number. A delay or failure usually comes down to network conditions on your end.

What to Check

  1. Signal strength. Move to an area with better mobile reception. OTPs cannot be delivered if your phone has no signal or is on airplane mode.

  2. Wait a few minutes. SMS delivery can sometimes take up to 5 minutes due to carrier-side congestion, especially during market opening hours.

  3. Check your SMS inbox and spam folder. Some phones auto-filter transactional messages.

  4. Restart your phone. This refreshes your network connection and often resolves SMS delivery issues.

Still Not Receiving the OTP?

  • Make sure you are using the same mobile number that is registered with your Punch account. OTPs are only sent to the registered number.

  • If you recently changed your SIM or ported your number, there may be a brief period where SMS delivery is disrupted. Wait a few hours and try again.

  • If nothing works, reach out to Punch support with your registered mobile number so we can look into it.
