Why did my withdrawal request get rejected?

Withdrawal rejections usually happen when your available balance is lower than the requested amount.

Common reasons for rejection

  • Insufficient clear balance — The most frequent cause. Your withdrawable balance may have dropped below the requested amount due to open positions, trading losses, or charges deducted during the end-of-day settlement.

  • Unsettled funds — If you sold shares or closed positions recently, those funds may still be in the settlement cycle and are not yet available for withdrawal.

  • Pending obligations — Any brokerage fees, taxes, or exchange charges that are due get deducted before your withdrawal is processed. This can lower the amount available.

What to do next

  1. Check your funds page to see your current withdrawable balance.

  2. Place a new withdrawal request for an amount within your available balance.

  3. If you believe the rejection is incorrect, contact Punch support with your withdrawal request details.
