How does the back button work on Punch?

The on-screen back button lets you return to the previous chart or screen — except in Split View, where it is hidden by design.

Punch has an on-screen back button that sits at the top-left of the chart. It lets you go back to your previous chart or screen with a single tap — handy when you have jumped into an option chart from search or the order form and want to return quickly.

What the back button does

Each time you switch to a new scrip or open an option chart, Punch remembers where you came from. Tapping the back button takes you one step back in that history — similar to the back button in a browser.

Not available in Split View

When you are using Split View (two charts side by side), the on-screen back button is hidden. This is by design — it prevents accidental taps from closing your multi-chart layout mid-trade.

To exit Split View, use the split mode toggle in the bottom panel to return to a single chart. The Android swipe-from-edge gesture also continues to work normally if your phone uses gesture navigation.
