How to Create and Manage Custom Watchlists on Punch

Custom watchlists on Punch

Punch allows you to create up to 3 custom watchlists to organize and track the stocks and instruments you're interested in. These custom watchlists are in addition to pre-made watchlists like Nifty 50, Bank Nifty, and other curated lists.

How to create a watchlist

1. Open the Punch app

2. Navigate to the Watchlists section

3. Tap on "Create Watchlist" or the "+" icon

4. Your new watchlist will be created (named Watchlist 1, 2, or 3 by default)

Adding scrips to a watchlist

You can add unlimited scrips to each of your custom watchlists:

1. Open the watchlist you want to add scrips to

2. Tap on "Add scrip" or the search icon

3. Search for the stock, F&O contract, or instrument you want to add

4. Tap on the scrip to add it to your watchlist

Managing your watchlists

You can customize your watchlists in the following ways:

• Reorder scrips: You can drag and drop scrips within a watchlist to arrange them in your preferred order

• Delete scrips: Remove any scrip from your watchlist by tapping the delete or remove icon

• Switch between watchlists: Swipe or tap to navigate between your different watchlists

Important limitations

You cannot rename custom watchlists on Punch. They will retain their default names (Watchlist 1, Watchlist 2, Watchlist 3). However, you have full control over which scrips are added and how they're ordered.

Custom vs pre-made watchlists

Punch provides both custom and pre-made watchlists:

• Custom watchlists: Fully editable. You can add, remove, and reorder scrips as you like.

• Pre-made watchlists: Curated lists like Nifty 50, Bank Nifty, and sectoral indices. These are locked and cannot be edited, but you can view them and add individual scrips from them to your custom watchlists.
