What happens after a rejection
When a document is rejected, a member of the Punch team will reach out to you with the specific reason and instructions on how to correct it. Keep an eye on your notifications and email for this message.
Common requirements to double-check
Before resubmitting, make sure your document meets these criteria:
Clarity — The document should be legible, not blurry or cut off.
Validity — It must be current and not expired.
Name match — The name on the document must match the name on your Punch account exactly.
Complete pages — Upload the full document without any cropping.
Requirements by document type
Bank statement — Must cover the last 6 months and include at least one credit transaction over ₹10,000.
Salary slips — Must be from the last 3 months and carry the company seal or letterhead with a signature.
ITR acknowledgement — From the last 2 fiscal years, showing your full name and PAN.
Form 16B — From the last fiscal year, showing your full name and PAN.
Holding statement — Must show holdings worth over ₹10,000, along with your full name and PAN.
