Why is the default chart on Punch a spot chart?
The spot chart is the primary reference for most options traders, and Punch builds key features directly on top of it.

Why spot is the default
Most options traders use the underlying spot or index chart as their main reference point — even when trading option contracts. Punch makes the spot chart the default because it allows key features to work directly on it:
Strike price lines are plotted on the spot chart so you can see where your options sit relative to the current market price.
Call and put pricing overlays give you a live view of premiums without switching screens.
You can place trades directly from the spot chart.
You can always switch to an option price chart from the search menu or order form whenever you need it.
