How Punch Shows Order Timestamps on the Orders Page

Every order on Punch displays the exact time down to the second, so you can tell apart trades placed moments apart.

Second-Level Precision on Every Order

When you open the Orders tab in Punch, each order row shows a timestamp in hh:mm:ss format — hours, minutes, and seconds. This applies to every order type, including market, limit, SL, and SL-M orders across equity and derivatives.

Why This Matters

If you place three orders in the same minute, a timestamp showing only 14:32 does not help you tell them apart. With second-level precision — 14:32:07, 14:32:41, 14:32:58 — each order is clearly distinguishable. This is especially valuable for scalpers and for reconciling your order log at the end of the day.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • All timestamps use Indian Standard Time (IST), consistent with exchange hours.

  • The seconds format applies to your full order history, not just today's orders.

  • The hh:mm:ss format is always on — there is no way to switch back to hh:mm.
